The only compelling reason is if Clemson doesn’t have an exist strategy to the BIG10/SEC. Dabo won’t be left behind IMO. If he doesn’t have confidence that Clemson can get out… TAMU offers that path.

The same things that tend to aggravate me about Dabo are the same things I think keeps him here. He’s a man on his own island. Big 10/SEC major divisions like the NFL, Paying player with NIL, Portals turning teams into the minor leagues all are things Dabo doesn’t like. Clemson has a path out, we have to wait until the new members are accepted before we can jet.

Clemson is a place Dabo can hang on to College football that we all remember and love, that is until we can’t ignore it.
