Just watched a brief clip on the NFL coaching carousel and it dawned on me. There’s better head coaches in college than the NFL.

I’m talking about now here in the modern day.

Name your current top 4 NFL head coaches vs the current top 4 college head coaches.

NFL football looks more like the college game than ever. I bet right here and now in 2024 college coaches would have more success in the pros than the current NFL coaches.

That’sa great list… the only college coach who might be in that group is Harbaugh… the best ever, Saban, failed miserably

That’s a great list, I was just thinking out loud when I posted this.

I still believe college coaches would be more successful in today’s NFL.

College used to follow NFL, it 100% the opposite nowadays. College coaches on average are not better, since there are almost 1000 college coaches and 32 NFL coaches. But most good NFL coaches would fail because they dont want to chase kids 365d a year. Good college coaches are used to having control of their guys at a different level. As NIL continues then college coaches will deal with HS kids as NFL guys and college coaches will replace NFL coaches.

How would Saban do with Dave Clawson’s players? It’s even worse now because if Clawson gets a good player the Sabans and Kirbys give em huge NIL deals and steal em. The top college coaches have a significant talent advantage over their opponents; that’s not usually the case in the NFL.
