Clemson vs Washington 1st round...

I think both Washington & Clemson will jump OState with one more win. Then they be playing Bama in the first round. We should punish Washington on a neutral field! Go ??

Washington makes me a little nervous, but only because I know basically nothing about them. I saw them play one game and honestly they looked small and almost high school'ish', but I know that can't be the case being they're #4 right now.

our DBs will have to play and we will need to get pressure on the QB. From what I can tell, he's a pretty good passer. I think they have the quickness to play with Clemson, but what do I know, I'm just a huge Clemson fan.

If the refs are calling holding and pass interference on DBs it could be a long day for the D.

Committee won't put Bama - OSU as semi, they want the possibility of that game as the natty. We will play OSU and Bama has UW in semis if they are indeed the final 4.

I think you're right, the committee wants Urban Meyer vs. Nick Saban in the Championship. But, I don't see how they keep OSU at #2 when they are sitting at home knowing they're through while us along with Washington are playing for our conference titles. I understand they have good wins but I would put Clemson at 2 and Washington at 3 because of the extra win along with a conference title. Plus, Ohio State played Michigan as even as a football game can be and if Michigan is 5 then it would makes sense to put OSU at 4. I don't know much about Washington if we have to play them but their QB doesn't make too many mistakes and is very efficient, and Ohio State can't throw the ball so as long as we can contain JT ( which I Believe our D line can) I think we will be fine. Let's focus on VT and get there first, then we can worry about opponents.

Washington won't jump OSU even with a conference title. Based off what Kirby said last night, there was a little discussion for Clemson at 2 over OSU but not enough to move the needle. We might boost our case with a good win over VT but will still end up in the 2vs3 game. Assuming Washington wins over Colorado they are in at #4 but barely. No outside team is getting in if the top 4 win out, conference champions or not, they have set that precedence. Now if Bama loses by some chance they will drop from one and give Clemson a shot at #1 and a trip to Atlanta. That's what we should be rooting for.

I don't think Washington moves ahead of Ohio St. We may but Washington still does not have the Ws that Ohio St has.

they have a more explosive and balanced offense than bama or ohio st. They also have a good defense.
