Day wants to coach in the NFL, if Kelly does well as OC, probably be first in line for HC position if Day leaves, or at least that what he's thinking.

Earlier in thread saw some speculation that Chip
Would be HC is waiting as Day has NFL aspirations.
I don’t think this is the case. I just think Chip is getting older and doesn’t want to deal with NIL and all the glad handing HCs have to do these days. If Day keeps his own input to a minimum and keeps out of Chips way - could be perfect.
