For those discussing where Notre Dame might be ranked, lets flashback to 2015 and the last time they only had one close loss to an undefeated team (that was us).

Here's what I think the committee will have going into the first rankings:

1-UGA
2-Alabama
3-Clemson
4-Notre Dame

UGA tops Bama with an on the road win over ND. And I think Clemson has better wins than ND, despite the horrible loss.

OSU and OU will be five and six

How the CFP Committee views that loss to Syracuse will be interesting. We have the worst loss of any team in the top 15. The TCU and Oklahoma losses to Iowa State don't look nearly as bad right now.

This committee looks at how you play and how and why you win and lose. We played bad but the injuries and 2 missed easy kicks now make it look very flukey. ND and Ga were pretty much equal, as were PSU and OSU. I foresee 1.Bammer 2. Ga 3. OSU 4. Clemson 5. Wisconsin 6. PSU 7. Oklahoma. Long ways to go and don’t sleep on Awbarn knocking off either Bammer or Ga. If they could somehow do both it would really jumble things up. Miami goes down soon. ND likely loses at Stanford. Wisconsin could possibly beat OSU in B1G title game which could also change things. I do not see Bammer and Ga both in playoffs unless Awbarn beats Bammer and then Ga beats them in both regular season and their title game. If so that could put 11-1 Bammer in playoffs. This is going to be interesting and I expect some craziness. All that said, I still expect CU and Bammer meet somewhere in playoffs. Other 2 most likely to be OSU and Ga.
