Really turned it on on that back 9. Birdied 12 and birdied 14 (toughest hole on the course) with a slippery right to left 10 footer after a beautiful draw drive and a wedge that I absolutely STUCK. Had a bogey on 17. I hate 17. Three putt. Physically, there is nothing I can’t do. Nothing. I’m not bragging, just the truth. God has blessed me in so many areas and I never take it for granted or use for personal gain.
But…….on the back 9 my phone was getting BLOWN UP with friends telling me Georgia has to go to Texas and to Alabama as well as playing Clemson AND the rest of the SEC. Then the SEC Title game potentially. Are you kidding me? Seriously, are you kidding me? That is the toughest schedule in the history of college football. Period. I don’t care how good a team is, no one can survive that schedule. Not to mention the attrition. Thank goodness they are going to 12 teams for the playoffs.
Just being HONEST - Clemson does not want to join the SEC. Stay. Where. You. Are.
PS - I’ve had a lot of people on here contact me about becoming a Clemson fan and I greatly appreciate the kind words and sentiments. You are the type people I gravitate towards. I may do it, but it has to be on my terms and time frame. Until I decide, we can all enjoy the banter and camaraderie that only southern football can bring!!

Why would we not want to join considering our record against them is 13-8 since 2013? And that includes Bama 4 times, UGA twice, LSUs dream team and Auburn/A&M twice.
If we can play the TOP teams and win almost twice as much as we've lost, why would we care about the Kentucky's, Miss St, Vandys, Ole Miss, Missouri, Arkansas and the other irrelevant teams?
We are still a better consistent program than you are. You remind me more of a USC with their little run than a Bama. Calm down with the downplaying.

Clemson's record against the SEC over the past two seasons is 1-3. That includes losing to last season South Carolina....after they spotted you 14 points....at home. And getting trucked by Tennessee's backup QB.

But, didn’t South Carolina come into Clemson and beat you? In your backyard? Didn’t a totally depleted Tennessee team easily beat Clemson? Guys…
It is all good, but let’s keep things adhering to my original post.
On a side note, can you guys imagine what the Georgia and Clemson tickets will be going for to open the 2024 season??!! I will get 2, but not sure I will even go. Atlanta is not the most attractive place to be coupled with that crowd

South Carolina has also recently come in and beaten you. It's called an upset. And if you can't see the difference in potential of offense between DJ and Cade, and you think everything revolves around the outcome of 1 game where we conservatively lost by 1, then I'm not sure you understand our team very much. Therefore, probably shouldn't comment on it.

We played extremely conservative and went away from what was working to try and rely on defense. Usually that works with Dabo, this time didn't. If you ask any Clemson fan if we were aggressive in trying to put the dagger in, they will say you're wrong. Per usual

I was out at Cateechee earlier today, played (sort of) a round of golf with this Dawg.
He took a 129 mulligans on the front 9. On the back 9 he just dropped the ball on the green. Still only shot 35 on the back 9.
I’d never seen a Dodge Charger golf cart before.

Well sir you are correct…why woukd we want to go through that gauntlet (other than as fans have better home games and away venues) when we can just stay in the ACC and have a watered down schedule and still recruit better than every team in the wntire SEC other than Bama and UGA and then still win as many nattys!!! Like where is the upside to joining???
All historically top civilizations end up destroying themselves from internally all in the quest for money and power…the SEC is entering this territory without even realizing what they are doing…the strong left will be formidable but they will be weary and the rest will be destroyed!!!

Clemson is in the perfect spot. They are a good program and recruit well. The idiots over at the SEC will quickly realize their power grab, while good on paper, will backfire.
College football is in trouble. Once the fans get turned off, it is over. NIL just the beginning.

I would love for Clemson to remain in the ACC but, that is financially impossible.
