I know there's a ton of smoke right now around Clemson commit Bryant Wesco. The Tigers' five-star receiver commit has continued to hear from plenty of programs despite a strong pledge, and understandably so. There have been rumors swirling about whether Wesco could show up for the Sooners' game against Iowa State, so I dug into it. Wesco himself said as of yesterday afternoon he is not planning on making a trip to Norman this weekend, then an Oklahoma source confirmed this morning that the five-star receiver isn't currently on a projected visitor Now, there's always a world in recruiting where anything can happen. The argument 'Where there's smoke, there's fire' could easily be brought up and after all, we live in the world of recruiting. But, with two sources providing an indication in the same direction who are, let's say 'close to the situation', I'm not expecting Wesco to make it as of this moment. It's also not a complete road block either, but I feel it important to mention that Wesco's Midlothian squad is scheduled to play a road game that's at least two hours away on Friday night. Consider travel time after that contest then getting up the next day and heading up to Norman, it's doable but also something to consider when discussing a committed recruit.

So it’s “smoke” whenever anyone says anything on Twitter. Both parties deny he’s even coming for a visit. No credible recruiting insider is making this allegation. If self-sourcing nonsense on Twitter or listening to trolls counts as “smoke” then the expression is meaningless. Why, in your limited posting, do you only seem interested in people flipping? If you are privy to inside information why wouldn’t you share more regularly and more even handedly?

to games if their friend is visiting.
I would be very disappointed to lose Bryant. I strongly feel that he would enter Clemson day 1 as a starter and that Cade Klubnik would have starting experience against Tennessee, Florida State, Notre Dame, and another big time program in post season.
I don't logically understand the decision behind him decommitting. He has the throne of WRU being handed to him and an absolute elite OC and QB to support him.

and he will be get the entire state's checkbook. We really do take care of our players, we just haven't had players that have shown the value - yet.

He will start at Clemson on day 1. The Tigers also have one of the best QB situations for next season. If he wants to go play somewhere else then tell him bye.

This has already been addressed. Further, Wesco is not even a OU target. Who is an OU target is Sammy Brown, but Sammy has already openly rejected all other offers. There is an offensive lineman that used to be a Clemson commit that has already recommitted and is a possible OU recruit.
