We have 0 true scoring threats. Our defense has actually been much worse this season than historically under Brownell.
We aren't built to truly compete in this league or nationally...yet again.

it appears that we are built different and we start all strong problem is is this is the second game in a row. I’ve seen a total collapse of offense in the second half. The team appears to either be completely hot or completely cold, and when they go cold, they go really cold like full on five minutes without a basket it’s super annoying to watch

Sadly you may be right… when it matters we have an all Acc guy in hall that has 10 points and been a non factor … and girard has like 5 points … if it weren’t for Ian we would literally be stuck in the 40s lol… we are 1-17 from 4 that’s pathetic. May be the same ol same ol honestly bc this is a very winnable game and we just can’t score.

The fact we're still in this game despite being absymal from 3 is all you need to see to know this team is different.

Are you saying I explicitly said this? Or are you saying those were your expectations?
Personally, I think anyone saying we'd "win the league" would be overly optimistic. I certainly would love to see us win the ACC championship game but got a lot of games to play.
I appreciate we're at least competitive and not being blown out despite making 1 there so far. Doesn't mean I feel great if we lose but saying "this team ain't different" is straight DUMB IMO when we're 11-2 currently.
Later in the year if we're struggling again, I can certainly change my opinion based on the evidence of this season - simple as that.

All I've heard this year is that we are built different. That this is the BEST team Brownell has assembled.
And we may very well not break 60 points AT HOME.
I literally see zero differences. Our defense is our strength (and we are actually worse this season statistically than in many years past) and we have to rely on slowing the game down to a snail's pace to stand any chance against decent competition.

Like I said at the beginning of the season. Don’t get too high and don’t get too low. See where we are at the end of the season. Brownell job hangs on the tournament.

well today. UNC has done a great job on them defensively.
Lack of athleticism is a legit concern though.
