You’re supposed to develop and get better over the season. He’s exactly the same he was at the start of the season in everything.

Pocket presence is vital to playing the QB position and this kid has none of it.

He has no pocket awareness he has no feel of pressure. He was surrounded by a loaded team at Westlake that made him look like a 5 star.

He’s not the 5 star type that can put a team on his back and carry them.

That’s even more to the point. You have to be able to feel that at the very least. You have to have a clock in your head and he just stands back there like it’s practice where he knows he isn’t going to get hit.

O-line has been suspect for sure, but Cade is making then look way, way worse than they could be if he had a clue what the heck he was doing.

Doesn't understand blocking assignments, doesn't feel pressure, can't anticipate and throw receivers open, completely lacks situational awareness, doesn't throw a good enough ball to hit a receiver in stride, if it makes it past his feet at all.

Other than that, the boy is trending in the right direction.
