In other words, our game tonight doesn't really matter?
In my opinion, we lose tonight and we are out. Win, and likely we're in. Win two and we're definitely in. I don't think we're in right now, but I don't think we need to win the ACCT to get in as some seem to think.

I think we’ll be in a group of teams that will be closely examined regardless.
If they look closely at certain games where injuries were factors, etc…that probably helps us. We lost without Chase Hunter at Wake…we lost without Galloway at BC…etc.
If other bubble teams lose (like Wisconsin yesterday), that helps us.
We were pretty good down the stretch…that should help us.
At least tonight we play a team ahead of us in the NET…a loss probably doesn’t kill our rating, but it will put a fellow bubble team (NCSU) squarely ahead of us on the bubble.
I think a win gets us a bid of the ‘first four’ variety. I just don’t see how you can keep us out…especially when you look at the other bubble teams.
2 or 3 wins gets us out of ‘first four’.
I don’t think a loss eliminates us for certain…but it puts us very much in jeapordy.

losses to Q3 BC and Q4 Louisville. Those two games alone will probably keep us out of the NCAAs without a win or 2 in the ACC Tourney.

Convincingly too. With a huge road win at NCSU. Lost at UVA, but who hasn’t? 3 of 4 was a good finish.
5-5 in our last 10 is meh…but others on the bubble were worse.
We had trouble when Galloway was injured at BC. People forget leading up to that Chase was out multiple games too. I think if committee actually looks at injuries, that helps us.
Louisville loss is still the big head scratcher, but it is what it is.

Obviously we’re all biased but I think that win should have sealed it for us. We should be a tournament team. I still don’t like BB and hope Neff doesn’t give him an extension longer than one year but this team deserves to be in the tournament.
