I've wanted to fire Brownell for a decade. This win changes everything. It changes the perception of the program nationally. He's got my full support.

But... I don't think we're done. It only gets better from here for Clemson Basketball.

Brownell is a very good coach.....I've been around basketball my entire life and know the game way better than I know football. His issues have always been bringing in talent and end of game management issues. Talent is finally getting corrected with better facilities, recruiting, and assistant coaching. He's also getting better as a coach and learning from mistakes. But we are lucky to have him and I think the future is bright
