The last three coaches that have been at LSU have all won national championships. Ed, Les, and Nicky. Brian Kelly is the winningest active coach in college football. I think he'll do pretty good there and maybe even win a championship. He built a winner at ND that recruits in the top 10 perennially and also puts players in the NFL more than all but a few programs even with being hamstrung at ND with academics. so I think this is

ND has always had recruiting ranks in the top. It use to be considered the Tom Lemming Effect. Maybe Kelly can finally get that elusive faster team now.

He will be fine at LSU. At ND he had good recruiting classes but the roster was still not deep. You have one guy injured and your team falls apart. Teams like LSU and Clemson can stack 4 and 5 star recruits at positions and redshirt some. I think he's a great hire for LSU.
