Beamer Or Muschamp - Who's Better?

I came across this interesting stat:
Through their first 3 seasons in Columbia.....
Shane Beamer's record: 19-17 (.528)
Will Muschamp's record: 22-17 (.564)
I realize there are more things to consider when evaluating a coach but Muschamp's record is actually slightly better than Beamer's. Or maybe these numbers indicate this. No matter who is at the helm in Columbia...mediocrity is the norm.

Beamer by a mile. Class guy who cares about his players. Raised by a good dad who taught how to care about his players and the game. Muschamp us a jerk. Always has been, as a player and a coach.

A friend of mine played for Muschamp and said despite his persona, he was a good coach and was too much of a players coach and not tough when he should have been.
That said, Beamer will never make a silk purse out of a sows ear but he's a good coach.

Cares about his players? Why was the RB, Anderson still in the game with wobbly legs in the 4th QTR after XT laid him out earlier. He had negative yards rushing and couldn't catch a pass after that hit and Beamer let them keep running him out on the field. When I hear Beamer has replaced who said Anderson was OK, then I may change my mind.

Shane at least brought culture and is a decent human. That obviously doesn’t win football games, but it at least makes him somewhat pleasant.

Muschamp knows ball, idk if Beamer knows the difference between his nose and ######. Champ might be an ### but was by far a superior coach. Maybe SB is a better recruiter?

I’m using the eye test, but Beamers teams just look inferior in every aspect. From talent to scheme. Maybe I’m wrong. End of the day as a Clemson fan, who cares.

in between every play in the 1st half to get the playcall. He literally had Bentley run 2 40 yard dashes after EVERY play...That has been the single most stupid "coaching philosophy" I have ever seen deployed for an entire half...just pure T little league ####...and this was his second swing at a HC job

strategy I have ever seen deployed for an entire half...Bentley ran a couple miles in between plays instead of them platooning a position player, they thought running the QB over to the sideline after EVERY play was the best course of action...I'm actually surprised Boom made it as long as he did...He will NEVER get another HC gig

Agreed.
Muschamp couldn't hire coordinators but he left the program in an ok position, which is why Beamer saw success the first two years(as did McElwain when he replaced Muschamp at Florida). Beamer is going to leave us in an absolute dumpster fire.

Not even a better recruiter. We are recruiting the same and Beamer has been able to buy recruits.
Muschamp would be killing it on the trail if he could openly pay players.

So Beamer beat our Tigers once and MustNotBeAChamp never beat Clemson.
Since 1 divided by zero is infinity, Beamer is infinitely better than MustNotBeAChamp.
Therefore, I think all Clemson fans should sign a petition to keep Beamer at USuC for the remainder of his natural life. (A Do Not Resusitate order wd b ok, IMO.)

Beamer is better. Mushchamp had the benefit of some good players that Spurrier left even though he neglected recruiting his last yr there.

Clearly we dodged a bullet on that one. Clearly he’s not a good head coach but the dude knows ball. I respect that. Also as a defensive cord. / defensive analyst, how many National Championships does he have?
