Arkansas question

ESPN as predicted dropped Clemson in their ranking to # 7. But, the writer stated: "By beating South Carolina, Arkansas now has two consecutive wins over quality opponents." Is SCAR really to be considered a "quality opponent?"

Is Cincy? A 7 point squeaker that could have gone either way. As for SCar - seriously. Their oline is crap. Rattled is as advertised. Honestly, rattler=dj. Clear reason why Oklahoma had to make a change.

Long way of saying, we have no idea if arky is a top 10 team. Probably a solid top 20.

What a silly question. Even Vanderbilt is considered "quality opponent". After all they play in the eSECpn.

It’s early in the season but this talk always comes out about who got hosed in the rankings, who should be getting more cred..it will get sorted out by midseason.

I’m just glad we won and they lost!

Or so. I don’t think you can make strong arguments for or against 8-16 right now. But no South Carolina would not be considered a quality opponent to me.

Here's how ridiculous ESPN writers are. Three of them have 3 SEC teams, Georgia, Bama, Ark, making the playoff,

Can you imagine the outrage from conferences that get shut out, while the SEC gets 3?

Has to play Texas a and m and bama. A and m is obviously beatable. You’re right though all the other major conferences would explode.

They were a bowl team after all. And they returned a lot on both sides of the ball.
