Another exam week flashback

Schilletter dining hall served a midnight pancake breakfast during exam week in the early 80’s. We were standing there just before midnight one night waiting for it to open when we heard a scream and a thud and what looked like a body land on the ground next to Manning Hall. It took me maybe 10 seconds to realize it was a dummy (the mannequin kind of dummy, not the living, breathing kind) mostly because the liquid running out of it was more the consistency of water than blood, that someone had thrown from either the roof or a very high floor window. 19 year old me thought it was funny but as I got older I understand that it was in poor taste. It did create quite the commotion and several people lost their appetite and the line got noticeably shorter.

Went to midnight breakfast @ Schletter exam week of '74. Skip Wise was standing next to the juke box dancing the whole time. I knew then he wasn't at Clemson for the academics and I wished I had half the buzz he had.
