We cannot continue to play like this at the end of games and expect to get in the playoffs. We HAVE to have a killer mentality. I know that backups need experience but this is ultimately going to bite us on the a$$.

We controlled this game from beginning to end. Our defense is great. Gallman has the potential to be the best back we've had since Spiller. Other than the 2 broken coverage plays ...I say we have nothing to worry about.

experience if we are going to make a legit NC run. 2) We looked pretty aggressive letting it rip with Nick in at QB. That was a fantastic final drive and one that would've resulted in at least 3, maybe 7, if we weren't just running out the clock.
3-4 mistakes that basically gave GT all of their points, but a great performance outside of that.

If you want to hold Ga Tech to 71 yards on the ground, you're going to open yourself up to the occasional deep throw.
Ga Tech will never beat anyone with the deep ball. Especially down 40-10 late in the game.

Yeah...building depth on defense is a stupid idea when we are up by 30. The film we got on the 2nd and 3rd teams today will help us beat FSU in a few weeks. Did you see the D-line on the last drive against ND. They had hands on hips and out of breath because there was no one to spell them.
There's nothing to be sick about today. You're expectation is just flat ignorant as far as football knowledge goes.

Is the reps they have gotten last season, filling in here and there. Those reps will pay huge dividends down the road, be it this season or the next. Or, we could play Boulware, Lawson, Dodd, Scott, Gallman, etc every snap and hope for the best. I prefer the way the coaches are doing it. As there was very little drop off from last season to this, even with injuries, I would say they have a fairly good handle on the situation.

I was not happy with the play calling the two games prior to today, and I posted last week to turn Deshaun loose.
But, I'm perfectly happy with the way things were done today.

Have you ever been to a concert? Now a country music festival or a five piece rock and roll show but a real concert.
The audience mummers and rumbles while the musicians are tuning their instruments and losing their fingers. It seems endless as the anxiety of the concert builds within. Then the conductor walks front and center of the orchestra. After he taps his baton you can hear a pin drop.
During that silence the anxiety builds and the boredom vanishes. Silence dominates until he waves it commanding the first note.
Let the musicians tune and the strings become accustomed to the temperature, let the wood of the violins settle as they become accustomed to the moisture of the air, let the musicians loosen their fingers then the music will begin. Let them prepare if you want a good concert.
This is a classical concert orchestra not a dammed bluegrass festival. We're going to get Johann Sebastian Bach not Lester Flat and Early Scruggs Foggy Mountain Breakdown.
