He got the kind of hype from his first fall camp that Watkins, Trevor Lawrence, and some other Clemson greats got. I know he got injured but I don’t understand this. He has been completely ineffective in every single game he has played. He has made absolutely ZERO big plays. I can understand him being slightly underwhelming compared to coach speak, but he isn’t even 1% of our offensive production.

I agree, I remember they were comparing him to Sammy Watkins and Mike Williams during his first spring camp. I get he tore his acl but did he lose all of his explosiveness too? I can’t wait for Wesco to come in he looks like real deal and worked with a top WRs coach this summer and he has amazing track record with WRs so really excited to see him. Go Tigers!!

Thats a tough injury he has come back from. Gotta build his confidence back.
Wish less was said abt him preseason...just ups expectation for no reason.
Again, think he will be fine long-term

Apparently he was absolutely lighting it up before he got injured. An injury can have a psychological impact even after it has healed and maybe that is what is going on here.
A lot of players never fully regain their form after an injury...Kyle Parker, Artavis Scott, Justyn Ross, Bryan Bresee, XT, etc. come to mind

I hardly see any chacnes to go up and get 1 on 1 balls like the other Wr's, we just don't take those shots, when they have he usually gets mugged....draws a flag sometimes. He's good, but apparently we just don't take the chances we normally would do in those 1 on 1 situations on the outside.
