I think we're in if we go 3-3 no matter the contests, but 2-4....I doubt it.
Either way I just want to see them win the ACC Tournament

Yeah...we know how games "we should" win go...so realistically going 2-4 is a very good possibility. I'd say the odds are about even between 2-4 and 4-2. So time will tell. But the question was if we do happen to finish 2-4 can we still make the dance?

Since the rest of our schedule has a combined conference W-L record of 38-48, there's absolutely no reason Brad's best team shouldn't finish 4th and get that double by in the ACC tournament. IMO, the double bye is our only shot to win the ACC.

Which is exactly the sort of situation in which we find that Brownell-coached teams so often falter.
So I won't be surprised if we go 2-4 or 3-3. Going 4-2 would be great, and that or more probably gets into NCAAT.

2-4 will require 2 ACCT wins IMO to advance. A lot would start to depend on how other bubble teams perform during that same closing stretch, and numbers of auto-qualifier game upsets.

As of today, according to TeamRankings, the odds are in our favor to win 5 of the remaining 6 games (shown below) with a 12.4% chance of winning all 6 of our remaining games.
2/21: GT (75.2%)
2/24: FSU (79.6%)
2/27: Pitt (69.3%)
3/2: ND (79.4%)
3/5: Syracuse (83.3%)
3/9: WF (41.5%)
Also, TeamRankings projects us as the 6th seed in the ACC tournament with a 42.1% chance to make the ACC semifinals, a 19.3% chance of making the ACC finals, and a 9.1% chance of winning the ACC tournament.
In terms of bracketology, TeamRankings projects the odds of us getting an at-large bid based on the number of wins we can still attain in the regular season and the tournament as…
43.1% (if we win 1 more game)
82.4% (if we win 2 more games)
97.7% (if we win 3 more games)
99.8% (if we win 4 more games)
100% (if we win more than 5 more games)
The schedule is very favorable to get those 5 wins in the regular season.

In the last 10 years, the best Clemson has ever done in their last 10 ACC games is 6-4.
For the last 10 this year, we are currently 3-1 with 6 more games left. That's pretty good.
I don't expect much more than 3-3 and while disappointing 2-4 wouldn't be unusual.
I'd hope Brad's "best team ever" can do better than that but I'll believe it when I see it.

There have been some rough finishes to seasons. If it helps, they did go 7-3 in their last 10 ACC games during the 2020-21 season though. With the schedule is in our favor to finish strong this year, we have a chance to set a new high mark for our last 10 games. Plus, it'd be lovely to carry that momentum into postseason play.

We were favored in 8 of 9 games prior to @ UNC. We went 3-5 in those.

Following @ UNC, we were favored in 8 of 9 remaining games and today we are 2-1 in those. If we perform up to expectations from here we should be fine. If we perform under expectations as we did the first half of league play we will not.

So sad that is our mindset hoping for 3-3 record against a bunch of teams that won't snif the tournament. Tony Bennett would win the ACC with Brads team and be a 1 or 2 seed in the ncaat.
