I did nothing but watch Sadler, Sewell, and Putnam for the whole Kentucky game tonight.
How did Putnam even start? He was horrible. How did Austin last so long?
50 and 55 were so bad.
We need some talent on the OL, and badly.

The entire O-line has under performed for the past couple years. Footwork, technique, strength and conditioning all bad. Blame the coach, not the players. Hopefully this Spring will be different.

I agree the OL has underperformed for quite a while, but the S&C at Clemson is very good. Looking at how we measure up at the NFL combine, our players are well prepared. The OL has not developed very much beyond their ability that they stepped on campus with. That will change now with Matt Luke in charge. We have to start getting some of our first offers committed and on campus. OL is the hardest to project but it is immensely easier when you have a a great coach doing the selection!

Expecting true freshmen and a true sophomores to excel on the OL is asking a bit much. They will improve especially 55. He will be a great one before he leaves. Now Putnam had just maxed out his talent . He was serviceable and certainly better than any other alternative.
