247Sports identified the top incoming signing for each ACC school, and for Clemson, that's 5-star linebacker Sammy Brown, a mid-year enrollee:

Outside of Miami's Justin Scott (No. 11 overall), Brown is the highest-rated recruit to commit to an ACC school in the class of 2024. If Clemson is to return to the level of defense it was playing during its championship years, it starts with Brown. He's one of the best athletes to come out of high school in recent memory and will turn heads at the NFL Combine in the future, according to 247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins.

"He's likely to set weight room records at Clemson and become a leader with his work ethic," Ivins wrote. "Testing numbers could turn heads at the NFL Scouting Combine one day."

I don't know about start that game, Dabo is a coach that will go with experience over talent until that talent proves themselves in an actual game condition. He always has!!!

I have my doubts Sammy starts game one but will play a lot. Playing LB is a lot more about knowing the your assignment and being able to read the offense. That’s a lot for a true freshman LB.

I actually expect it us to run a 4-2-5 a lot. Carter and Wade are guarantee starters. Kobe and Sammy will fill in and play a lot. Anderson and Crayton will get some PT as well.

Hoping that somebody within the coaching staff is trying to grab that WR from BC after losing their HC. I'm pretty sure coaches can offer him now after losing their HC without breaking the rules, am I right?

For a 3 star guy, Syair Torrance had some pretty good offers, sure would be worth trying to get to Clemson...

Since he signed a NLI and if he changes his mind, he must apply for a release from his NLI. If the school does not grant the request and the athlete leaves the school he will loose one year of eligibility.

This rule recently changed. This class presents the first time athletes can get out of a NLI without penalty if the head coach leaves the institution.
