Nope! Absolutely not! No way that an immediate impact player of this caliber takes away the roster spot of Walt Smith, a 5'8 170 LB Safety, Hampton Earle, a 5'9 180 lb WR, coach's kid Brodey Conn, 5'9 200 lb safety, Jacob Hendricks, a 5'7 170 lb safety, or Blackmon Huckabee Jr the 3rd, 5'9 180 lb WR....Get real dude!

I suspect. I also suspect that is a floor Clemson is unwilling to walk out onto.
Some on these boards seem to think that EVERY O-Lineman who enters the Portal is automatically better than what we have, AND is just frothing at the mouth to come to Clemson. #1 is probably seldom true, and #2, as we have repeatedly seen, is most definitely NOT true. Hence, the hire of a top O-Line coach to develop what we have, which was supposedly top line talent coming out of high school.
