With exception that Dabo did it twice, Jimbo once. Without generational QBs, both are getting paid far more than the results justify!

The exception is because Dabo had 2 generational QB’s fall into his lap and Jimbo only had one. Take away the DW and Trevor years from Dabos tenure and look at what you have.
We had a few pretty good teams, but nothing to write home about

Pretty sure we had TL at qb when we were 15-0. My point was, look at his performances outside of those 2 generational qbs…I guess that one went completely over your head

So it's like this.... if this team isn't back to at least 10 wins next season and a top 15 finish you arnd the other 98.5 will be done with Dabo's lame personality and his excuses also. You are just a little slower learner than the 1.5. Does tbat make sense to you....... I'll wait??? I think too many on here are trying to be polite and say that without the best assistants in the country Dabo is not good.

They had good support players also. They actually played real games with real wins and real trophies. Therefore, your logic to remove them from the past is unrealistic.
Now not developing talent is valid especially in the Oline and receiving corps.

Exactly, and that becomes more and more clear the less generational talent you have on the field to cover it up.
That was my point…Not to erase those years, but to look at how we have performed without it. When we rely heavily on coaching schemes and developing talent, we haven’t faired so well

That seems to be true for all coaches. In the end it’s about the Jimmy’s and Joe’s.
I don’t think Jimbo is equal to Dabo in many measures.

Dabo also had a playoff team with Kelly Bryant at QB. Bryant was a good college QB but was not even elite let alone a generational QB. He won a conference championship with DJU. Jimbo does not have anything close to that.

Yeah but the KB team had a few generational stars on it in their own right on offense (Etienne and Tee Higgins to name a couple)

Yeah dabo is significantly better than jimbo in my opinion, has one title and one playoff appearance a 40 point loss to oregon. not even close to dabos 6 straight playoff and 12 10 win seasons in a row.
Also the bit about two generational qb "falling into his lap" no he recruited them and recruiting is a skill, at one point Lawrence was a 99% lean to UGA and dabo flipped him, that is a skill, i could easily say Saban without the 100 5 stars "that fell in his lap" is average coach, but once again recruiting is a skill.

Totally disagree. Jimbo Fisher had a QB and let him break laws and run the program into the ground and a rotating cast of coaches couldnt fix it, and despite where they are now, they still aren’t back. As broken as we are, we took them to overtime. Dabo Swinney has integrity. THAT is all that is needed for your moronic opinion.
