Based on the last 2 I made the trip to it will be more like a $2000 minimum if you wait until close to game time.

I booked 2 killer seats at half time of the Ohi-0 game for $1650 each. Stubhub fees should be capped..

I don’t think prices go as high as Tampa or Atlanta championship games were. People could dump airfare and lodging $$$ into tickets for those two due to proximity.

It will be travel this year that is resource limited. Case in point, when we beat OU in the Orange Bowl, Pops and I booked flights to PHX before the game at $386 round trip out of Atlanta. By the team we got to the hotel from the game on NYE, same flights had jumped to $1600 a seat.

Good point. My plane ride to glendale was worse than tbe ticket. I waited too late to book.

Yep, for Tampa I dropped $1K on stubhub for a single ticket, hitch-hiked to Tampa and back, slept on the floor in someone else's hotel room, and ate granola bars I brought from home. Honest truth. Couldn't have afforded airfare on top of the ticket price if the game had been across the country. Once in a lifetime experience.

Spent 850 for ticket in Tampa

I don't know why they would choose Levi's Stadium

Yes, SF in January cold and rainy with an open stadium -- I got my fill of cold in NO

Not just that but everyone always complains about

Jul 14, 2018, 9:06 AM

the stadium itself too. Everyone hates that the Pac 12 title game is played there. I honestly don't think I've ever heard one positive about Levi's Stadium.

Playing outdoors in San Francisco, in January, is a recipe for disaster.

Why would they choose a venue where the outcome of the game could be influenced by inclement weather.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

It really is quite stupid. Since the playoffs started, the natty has been played by teams from the south and one from the midwest. I'll never understand why they pick these venues so far away from the fans' home turf. They need to select the sites according to whoever is playing these games.
