Zac Brookes

Oct 7, 2015, 12:08 AM

Gotta say I have been a Brookes hater for awhile. I thought he was a WR playing RB. I would like to retract that know. Dude is explosive and runs hard. I look for him to lock down the back up RB shot this weekend.

Zac is actually one of our most talented and experienced

Players on the team. People for some reason seem to forget how important he was for us up until he hurt his shoulder and how he firmly planted his foot in UGAs ####. I would love to see us use him in the same way the saints are using CJ, the guy killed UGA on a couple of wheel routes and he's proven himself to be productive and reliable wherever we put him. Honestly he's one of those that you can't really afford to keep off the field, we will start giving teams a heavy dose of Zac Brooks but I'm not sure if it will be Ga Tech or somewhere down the lines like the semiholes.

If it werent from injuries he would be starter right now. Last year he had really started to get it. Morris didnt like him because he outran the play, one reason i hated morris. Too much gimmicky movement on running plays hurt us under him. Brooks and gallman run downhill and cant wait for it to develope. Give them the ball let them go, bama style. Ive seen alot less of the waiting this year except when they went too conservative. But brooks and gallman is a really solid duo! And know how to protect the ball!

I honestly don't care, because we know who you're talking about, but is there a reason you intentionally spell Brooks' last name incorrectly? You've spelled it with an 'e' in multiple threads, so I'm guessing it's funny to you or you just don't notice it. Your thoughts on Brooks are correct, though. He still has lots of potential that I hope we can see him reach, because he has a very versatile skill set.

Go Tigers!

I am surprised we arent seeing more of him as a backup to Gallman. He is a nice change of pace there

I agree. I think that he has looked the most explosive out of all of our backs this year when he touches the ball. Different style than Wayne, almost quicker looking. This is however NOT a knock on Wayne, he has been great.

opportunity to sit down with him at lunch this summer in Clemson. We're fortunate to have guys like him represent the program.

I sincerely hope we see a lot more of him this weekend vs. GT.
