OCs only panics when they can't use their whole playbook. Either because of what the defense is doing or personnel restrictions.

There is no probably.... either you panicked or you didn’t. Which is it?
Why run ball up middle with 9 in the box?
A game plan with no QB runs?..... that should have been an indication to start a different QB.
What happened to throwing over the middle of the field? Oh yea.... haven’t done that in forever.
What happened to attacking the edges? Do we no longer have speed?
The one series where we ran Cooper once... we scored. ....
Why was no one sealing the edges on D?
Did we not know they had a mobile QB?
Kicking was gonna kill us at some point....we all knew that at the seasons start.

Nope. Done killed. We might yet get into the ACCCG, but any idea of the playoffs likely was killed last night. Can't depend on other teams to screw up like last year. We really #### the bed last night.

Young reporters/interviewers not hardline

too soft/too polite. Suggestion: "Let me re-phrase the question, sir, with all respect: it's understood that KB is more experienced and a playmaker, but why did you allow an immobile, limping quarterback to stay in the game when part of his game is running?"
That answer Elliot gave on that was complete horsefeathers.

KB should certainly be up for an Academy Award for his stunning performance and portrayal of his role as Long John Silver in the modern day version of the movie Treasure Island.
It was really sad to see him peg-legging around last night, before before he was seriously injured.

Elliot has run out of smoke and mirrors. He was able to look good last year because of Watson, who I can only assume checked out of some of his stupid play calling. Unfortunately Bryant is not capable of doing that. You could see in the last two or three games that teams started figuring out that Kelly Bryant has issues throwing the ball downfield. They have been putting seven to eight in the box to stop the run and dare Clemson to pass. To our pain it finally succeeded.
That garbage Elliot said about saying some guys didn't execute on the perimeter is laced with BS all through it! Teams not respecting the downfield throws are bringing these guys in the box and bringing their safeties up, that perimeter pass to the flat has not been working consistently at all. It probably loses more yards than it makes? What is the most disappointing about what teams defenses are doing to Clemson is Elliot seems helpless to do anything scheme wise to adjust. There are a slew of plays (some basic and easy) to counter when defenses stack the box, but for some odd reason Elliot doesn't know them. Watson made him look good as an OC, but now we are seeing the real Tony Elliot, and that is someone who is above his head. I like the guy. He is a really nice person with an incredible and moving story, and I was glad to see him get a shot, but now this experiment needs to come to an end and Clemson needs to find a good OC who can call plays.

Watson made them look good. These offensive gurus this year are calling too conservative a game.
