In response to: Keep it to football

All I can tell you is that I dont care what religion you or any individual is all I care is that you have a 1 on 1 relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By you telling the rest of the Tiger nation to keep it to football is like asking to take God out of School.
So all I can tell you my friend is dont start stuff around here because alot of us would rather talk about how we can bring Christ into the game of football in order to win another championship. That being said. GO TIGERS.

Glad you read the Constitution my friend. The UNITED STATE OF AMERICAN was founded on CHRISTIAN principles. If you dont like it deal with. The world is becoming more corrupt and taking God out of everything. Sorry I am against that. I believe if your gonna teach Evolution you sure as #### better teach something about Christ.

You really should go back and read it, because you are 100% incorrect. Please don't spread misinformation.

OK, take the religion/politics to that forum and

the Constitution does not say Separate Church and State.
Amendment 1 states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Subsequently by taking Prayer out of school, you have violated the 1st Amendment to the Constitution as you have "prohibited the Free exercise thereof".
That's all I have to say in the Football Forum on that.

Actually, the phrase 'separation of church and state,'

is taken from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson to a Baptist community assuring them that the government would neither get, nor allow other to get involved in their business. The constitution provided for the churches' protection from the government is does not prohibit the churches from getting involved in government for if it did it would deny citizens rights to self govern.

Was added to US currency during the late 1950's, early 1960's in response to the perceived communist threat at the time. It has been challenged in court numerous times.

Do you honestly think God cares who wins a football game?

Sheesh. Get over yourselves.
You don't think Auburn has players/fans who are as religious as Clemson?
Sorry, just my 2 cents.

"how we can bring Christ into the game of football in order to win another championship."
It just bothers me that some are so misguided & self righteous in their beliefs that they feel Clemson (& be extention themselves) is better because of religion. What about Notre Dame? BYU? Oh, that's right they don't count because they are Catholic & Mormon.

Jesus isn't winning Clemson any football games, no matter how hard we might pray. In all honesty, me crossing my fingers and making a wish upon a shooting star has equal/better odds of helping Clemson win than praying to your Lord.

Why can't people reply to a thread *in that thread*? Starting a new thread to respond to an existing thread is not necessary.
