I agree. There is no way you should lose when you put those kind of points on the board. Offense looked unstoppable in the 1st half.

that seems to happen w us. when you have a good team on D and you cant score points. when you can score points you cant stop anyone. well us and a few other teams too

Andre Ware, Cam Newton, David Klingler, Tim Couch, etc, etc all say the same thing.
This style of offense, historically and in the present, does not lend itself to good defenses. You can make coaching changes, recruit better, and all of that but it is a recurrent theme: high tempo, spread offenses are usually accompanied by even worse defenses.

and they won the game. I think they were the all around better team, but I don't think Clemson is far off. We had a chance to win, but couldn't make the adjustment. Give them credit, and move on. Our season is not over yet!!

defense. What Simms said is true. This kind of offense is NOT conducive to solid defensive performances. Get used to it.

I personally think that this offense makes it difficult to have a good defense. Its such a quick strike offense that our defense ends up on the field most of the game. When you have teams that run a pro style offense and just rams it down the opponents throat your D stays off the field and gets a lot of rest.
