get an Orange Bowl win and berth in title game with that pairing. They were determined to give that bye to Bama. They couldn't justify dropping us to #2 so they moved Mich State up to #3.

I think that 9.5 pts they are giving Bama is a real problem if you are Saban . They are not 10 points better than anyone in the playoff group .
Mich State will give them a fight , and win if things go their way in the turnover game . Mark Dantonio is a good coach and that team is tough as nails.

I hope they beat Alabama, but Michigan State is going to attempt to beat them at their own game. That rarely ends well. Connor Cook is going to have to play out of his mind.

MSU beat a top 4 undefeated team the last week of the season and played 1 more game than Oklahoma. They deserve the 3 seed you could even make a case for the 2 seed.

Disagree they belonged at #3. A last second 3 point win over Iowa was NOT justification for jumping Oklahoma. EVERYONE knows it was a fix so bama wouldnt have to face Oklahoma first, its not even close. MSU beat michigan on that lame punter not getting the ball off. Without that victory. MSU is not in it.

Sparty is capable of stopping Bama's running game! If they are able to do it, I'm thinking they hang around till the end. Add in that they have experience in some nail bitters...maybe the pull the upset!
We're beating the Sooners...end of the story.
BTW, it's going to feel good too!

It simply amazes me that these people actually get paid to say things without any reason or thought.

Believe it or not, this IS the same okie team we played last year. They had a solid quarterback last year in Trevor Knight, the same Trevor Knight that beat Bama the year before. They added mixon to that other RB that we shut down last year. They had Sheppard at WR. They played a GODAWFUL schedule against teams that couldnt even spell defense. They lost to a quarterback last year that hadnt played well all year. They played SIX teams ranked 100+ in total defense. They beat a TCU team decimated with injuries, including their starting QB, and they only lost that game cause they decided to go for two and the win than the tie and go to overtime. GET OVER IT ALREADY!!!! They have YET to face an offense like Clemson OR a defense like Clemson. A WELL RESTED defense primed for the kill. You got Lawson who has declared for the draft and is looking to raise his stock. While Kearse, Mac, Leggett, Dodds hasnt yet declared, they TOO are primed to show out and will be focused. Its what we do. We focus on the game when its time to focus on the game and we will come out the victor. Enough with the lovefest for EVERY decent team that plays Clemson. This shtick is getting old!!!!
