I mean I feel like the loved he showed Clemson was showed back. Sammy was a such a great college receiver, and the fans loved him. NUK as good as he was was second fiddle. I feel like that’s his gripe, I don’t like it, but I understand.

I think that's actually debatable. Maybe Nuk wasn't as much of a "homerun" threat as Sammy, but Nuk actually averaged more yards per catch(14.7) than Sammy did(14.1) for their college careers.
Sammy ended up with more catches for his college career(240) and yards(3,391) than Nuk did(206) and (3,020) but a great deal of that was due to Sammy getting to play a full year without Nuk to share targets with.
In the 2 years they played together Nuk had 154 catches for 2,383 yards and 23 touchdowns and Sammy had 139 catches for 1,927 yards and 16 touchdowns(1 was a rushing td). Sammy did have 328 yards rushing during that time to bring his total yardage to 2,255. The numbers were fairly even between the 2 with Nuk slightly outproducing Sammy, but Sammy got the love due to the feeling of him being a threat to score each time he touched the ball.

Can we ever let this go and get off the guy's back?

Nuk was a great player for Clemson including 82 catches for 1400 yards his junior year and the famous 4th and 16 play which is probably one of the top 5 plays all time for Clemson football. He's stayed out of trouble and does a lot of great charity work for kids and women and has been through a lot with his mother and family.

Thank you. He has a strong connection to his home and his HS, so he gives them some love. Good for him. From what I can tell, Nuk is an extremely serious, thoughtful person. We need more Nuks in the world and fewer snowflakes.

One incident of emotion, according to him after people in a coordinated slow moving train of traffic took exception to his presence and brake checked him.
I dont agree with all of his expressed opinions, but I have a lot of respect because he seems to arrive at his opinions with a lot of thought and personal history. Few of his comments are knee jerk. Heck, I thought he handled the "banned substance" issue well; he explained his side of it and then took responsibility.

Hopkins comes across as a guy who really wants to be a victim of something, anything. I’m sure when he flipped off the folks who didn’t vote socialist, he was somehow a victim of something. In the end, things seemed to of worked out great, He can’t seem to pass a drug test and well, the folks he flipped off as it turned out, were forecasting what anyone with common sense knew would happen if socialist were allowed to run the country.
