Why want the ACC invite teams in to make it a stronger ?

Also if basketball would reqwire it players to play at least 3 years to be able to go to NBA would that not make the ACC more attractive whitch would be a Super Confrence for both vinues;Football and basketball;lets face it when the NBA started takeing players way to early it hurt collage basketball whitch inturn hurt the entertainment value of the ACC.When Clemson won all those ACC championships and a National title;what was the landscape of collage basketball at that time?

Let me save you some time here....there are NONE !!!!!

The other leagues are establishing premier bowl tie-ins and compelling cross-conference scheduling. There is no one left but team from the Big East or Conference USA.

Unfortunately, that ship sailed while John Swofford was busy reserving the Greensboro Coliseum for the next ten ACC basketball tournaments.

ACC turned down UT, TT, OK and OK St. last yr

After they got turned away by the Pac-12, the came to the ACC who turned them down and instead they picked up Pitt and Cuse. That allowed the Big12 to survive, who then went out and got Chuck Neinas who has rebuilt the conference and understood that football and not basketball drives TV money, unlike Swoffy who just figured that out a few weeks ago, after turning away four football schools and picking up Cuse and Pitt and day dreaming about ND.
