Why is SEC/Big 10 getting 58% of the CFP revenue?

While the ACC gets 36% or so. That’s not right and isn’t fair if this isn’t reason for Clemson to pull out the ACC then nothing is. I guess we waiting to see the outcome of FSU lawsuit but Clemson can’t sit around and haul in less revenue then SEC/Big 10. Heck I’d rather Clemson go independent. Obviously that won’t happen but would be better then the dying ACC.

Probably simply based on amount of revenue that they produce. This monster (NIL) is going to change drastically over the coming years but have absolutely no idea how. No argument that it has to be fixed … with looking like Leninism.

Most of the time when a Clemson FB game is being aired on TV as a live game, it is more often than not that the TV ratings were as high or higher than any of the other game that were on or came on before or after. But when it comes to Clemson being paid from the revenue their games brought in, it's the very same as it is for every other member in the ACC, but 80-85% of those members are enjoying/profiting from the revenue off the back of Clemson, but they don't spend half of what Clemson spends to put a competitive product on the field. Something about that deal is dead wrong!!!

Thats a real big gap if the ACC is supposed to be Power 5 as well.

They get more TV money cause they put more butts in the seats...not everyone but most...have seen games where there were few! Clemson is top notch in fan support and game day experience...not the same everywhere! When TAMU is losing and darn near worthless (quite often lately) they still put 90k in the stadium...dang they have 60k students! The next 3 years will show if Clemson is to survive and prosper or become a consistent 8-3 winner! I still like betting on Dabo and these special hills!

The ACC and BIG12 dug their own graves. If they agree to this it’s the final nail in the coffin

I realize that many think that the sec is the natural fit....I'd rather go big 10.....I'm afraid being in the sec would kill our soccer program.....they deserve thought in any discussion.

My concern is what will Clemson do if the rumors are true that both the SEC and BiG10 are not interested in bringing Clemson in. Doesn't seem to make sense but that is what I have been reading for some time.

The more the big time NIL and money grabbing big conference crap continues the more I don’t care if we don’t end up in one of those two. It’s not college football. What is “leftover” after the BIG and $EC finish destroying upper level college football will still somewhat resemble college football. Give me that. If I want to watch pro football I’ll just keep watching the NFL.

It’s not that they don’t want Clemson. Rather it’s rumor that they are looking to expand with higher priority targets. UNC seems to be in a good spot, because both conferences see value for different reasons. Same for UVA. FSU and ND are first priority. Clemson should rise in priority if ND chooses to stay independent. It’s really a question of how many adds happen in this next expansion round. Will it be 18 to 20 for Big10 and 16 to 18 for SEC? What if the SEC decides to go instead to 20 to put the ACC in it’s grave?

They all have been getting more revenue right along and it still don't help the poultry...you still can't put enough lipstick on a pig to make a prom queen...imagine if we spent as much money on academics as we do supporting old man testosterone! Clemson is still a viable option to a young man who wants an education! With some of these NIL payments who needs college, between pot, coke, baby mama and that new Mercedes convertible maybe I should hit the portal and make MO Money...maybe FSU has a spot!
