Mafah or Pace? Hate to see them go but I can’t imagine all staying.

Did Pace get any snaps yesterday? If not and he doesn't get any next week, him transferring wouldn't be a surprise. Also if Mafah feels coaches aren't going to use the run game enough when it's working well like yesterday, he may make that move.

Mafah with 89 carries
Pace 27
I know there are reasons for this not doubting who has most. Has to do with blocking, receiving etc too and how work in practice etc. I just can’t see pace staying. But again not implying that this is somehow our coaches’ fault. Maybe it is maybe it isn’t but can’t see him staying.

Pace has to transfer. He has an NFL future, just needs to be the featured back somewhere to put more on tape.

I’m confused. Some say we don’t run enough. Some say we don’t throw it to the tight ends enough. Some say we don’t throw it downfield to our receivers. I’m confused. Help me out here!

All of the above. If we had better play-calling, we would make more 1st downs, which would allow us to run enough plays to satisfy all of our needs.

Most likely to transfer: Pace
He's coming up on his last year so it would make total sense for him to portal out to somewhere he could be RB1 to get some tape for an NFL run.
That said, it's entirely possible we lose both. Mafah is coming up on his JR year and absolutely has NFL RB potential... perhaps he wants to be RB1 to try and show out to declare for the draft early.

It will be a real shame if any transfer but its not crazy to worry. Going into the season with 3 stud RBs and a QB who had a challlenging year, it is a head scratcher why we didn't make 2 back sets a staple

Pace was suppose to transfer out last year but he got injured. He’s not playing anymore games this year. Will get a medical redshirt and have 3 year of eligibility left. Spillers is not a good recruit. You guys should thank TE got the backs you have now.
