I'm going to take my Clemson plates off and park in a parking garage (backed in). Don't want any pissed off coots seeing orange and slashing a tire or two.

Try along Shop Road. May find a few places there; however, bathrooms are a walk to the fair grounds near the rocket.

We don't like to tailgate with the poultry as a general rule, and the fairgrounds are awful to get out of. All that is probably now assigned to Gamecock money boosters. So most everything else is even worse unless you go a half mile or more down Bluff or Shop Rds. Some of the neighborhoods in South Olympia might not be too bad but you'd need to pay some money to a homeowner. We find a spot in the neighborhoods near where the Roost used to be off Rosewood. Hike a half mile watch the game and get out. If you are willing to do the walk that is the best way to get out as you can go through downtown with a fraction of the traffic of trying to get out of the major arteries for an hour or so.

Got a pass in the blue section of fair grounds (closest to the stadium) couple years ago and there were quite a few tiger tailgaters in there. Traffic is slow but I expect it will be mostly tigers at the end of the game this year. Easy exit!

Some where down beside the rail road tracks. Most of the fair ground parking is taken by coots. All businesses close to the stadium will rent their parking spaces for 20 to 40 bucks for a small space. Probably the worst tailgate parking for visitors!!!

My family is parking at the state newspaper lot www.parkwhiz.com $27.50. 1/2 mile from the stadium

I went to ParkWhiz also. We will be at State newspaper as well. Hopefully with parking attendant present our vehicles will remain safe. See you there. Go Tigers !!
