And I only believe a few actually rake in the money.
What do all the athletes in all these other college sports make?
Poorly thought out and executed so far and has done nothing but hurt the game imo. Lot better ways to make sure these kids can make bank without screwing up the sport.
Now we will have basically 2 conferences with all the money and we are paying players. I wonder where they will choose to play sports??
And for the schools do not pay the kids crowd pull your head out of the sand. It can be pencil whipped to make it look like it comes from wherever you want it to come from.

There won't be to many objection about changing the rules bc, mostly it's the elite players making the money, all others are asking why it's not be shared equally with the team bc without everybody, the elite isn't elite anymore, they're just average Joe's that could be elite if they had a team blocking for them so they can show off their ability or speed!!!
Team sports takes the entire team with the backups or it just doesn't work, and it wouldn't be worth paying money to watch it. I say they should have one account for every player at every school, the amount a player would get sure wouldn't be in the millions plus the free college education, meals, Doctors, clothing and whatever else they get for playing C O L L E G E sports!!!!!!
Some of these NIL deals are paying one player more than an entire coaching staff plus, so I say yes it has gotten way out of hand with most of the players that it takes to play the game getting nothing other than what a scholarship allows them, and it's totally not fair nor right where they are concern!!!

I really hope that is true, IMO it has already gotten out of hand, and when things get like that it's much harder to reel it back in!!!

Unfortunately unless there is real leadership this problem has just started. I can honestly see myself losing interest if things keep going as they are.

From everything being reported the upper echelon of CFB (Bama,Clemson,OSU,Georgia,ETC) have been working on this behind the scenes for a while. After all the kids are making their money off of the schools IP. Imo this is going to reel things back into reality as everything will be on the table out in the open. I think this is why Dabo keeps reiterating the whole blow it up and have one conference with the top teams he knows what’s on the horizons.

Joe High School in the media and fan world, vs Joe Tiger or Joe Buckeye?
From a brand and marketing value, it will be driven by the school behind the player here, up to that point at least where a kid delivers enough on the field to get a national deal. But even then, if they're not sporting a school logo or colors, is the value there?
The guys in all those Heisman House commercials sport their school colors and logos in every edition. If those programs aren't getting a cut of that action, I'd be shocked.

I still don't understand how there is any real value in these kids from advertising?
I don't buy a car from a dealership because the local NFL coach advertises for the, I'm certainly not buying a car because they do a commercial with a freshman on a football team.
The only value in these guys is to get them to come play for your team.
