NIL $ or 5-Star Recruits (or both of course)?

The team that commands both will be the leader for each year's Natty, imho.

Is that Georgia? Alabama? LSU?

What thinks you~

Graduation rates and student athlete representation used to mean something in all of this. I think Dabo still has that in mind, I am with him on that?

UGA is in good enough shape right now that they will be given ‘rights of first refusal’ to match … not exceed, but match … NIL deals with recruits and portal players from places like TN, Auburn, FL, and S.Carolina.

Clemson appears to using our limited NIL money to keep key players in the fold who have been ‘tampered with’ by other teams. For the time being, we may have enough money to ‘play defense’ in the NIL game.

As for graduation rates, most of America’s colleges and universities have sold out their original mission as institutes of higher learning (and with the inevitably significant flunk out rate that happens when the class work is hard and the grading system is strict) in favor of a consumeristic approach (in which the student is the primary form of currency for the school).

In other words, a large number of happy, in-stressed by hard course-work students brings more money to the college than does its reputation as a place whose graduates are nearly always equipped to perform the hard (and higher paying) jobs / run the successful businesses.

, Clemson and pretty much all other schools loudly announce their high graduation rates.

Clemson holds no ‘advantage’ versus other schools as far as our will8ngness to ‘sell out’ our academic reputation in exchange for having a very high graduation rate.

How do you know Georgia's players earned more any other schools? Of course the quality of the recruit makes a difference. You can't turn a mule into a horse regardless of how many times you brush him.
