Kentucky? Inexperience personnel scheme ?? The secondary tried to give the game away in the second half. No one passes like that on us all year.

Eyes in the backfield too long. Same thing happened against Wake last year. It’ll get fixed.

New guy, Freshman cornerback Shelton Lewis, was getting whipped like Wiggins was whipped at WFU last year. I made a comment here at halftime where I said I don't know how Lewis will turn out, but remember Wiggins WFU game. And then he comes up with the INT to seal the deal. Nice end for the kjid, hope he blossoms like Wiggins did.

Trotter was not there to direct where everyone should be and coach the new guys up on the field.

Inexperienced. Has to be one of the toughest positions on the field especially with a decent QB.

Inexperience. BUT---we have a lot of good film these young guys can learn from. And Lewis, in particular, played better as the game went on.

Really? Next year try to keep up with our players who declare for the draft or go in the Portal.

We were missing a starting D lineman, starting middle linebacker, best corner and starting safety. Some drop off would be expected,

Too much youth and too little game experience...four plays worth of coverage lapses and one run over offensive PI not called by an idiot ref looking right at the play! They also made a bunch of good plays...they will be fine in the future..it seems clearer now that Wes Goodwin is a great D coach!

Opt outs and less experienced players resulted in defensive lapses and big plays.

They couldn’t cover their nose to sneeze. A lot of work and experience needed before our first game next year.

No Wiggins, Jones, Lukas, Makuba, even T. Pride

The freshman DBs are great…but you have to realize that Lewis and Terrell basically didn’t see the field for over half the season. Barnes had played some, but was behind Makuba much of the year. Lukas and Pride played in relief of Wiggins & Jones for much of the season. Plus…there was really not any depth available behind the guys who actually played in the bowl. Pretty sure that they were probably tired in the 4th quarter collectively. Our best teams had quality depth that was built as lots of guys playing during the season, especially during blowouts (and we have missed that the past couple of years). These freshman kind of got thrown in the fire due to injuries, opt outs, etc….it will benefit them in the long run.
