What I don’t get is the worship of the mighty sec.

Nov 27, 2022, 9:20 AM

Yes we played terrible yesterday and don’t belong in the discussion for the cfp and have changes to make. But you do realize the team coming out of the west has 3 losses and will be in the conference championship? That has to be embarrassing especially to lose going into it badly to a bad Texas an and m team. And not that it was a surprise. Who honestly didn’t think there was a decent likelihood. Not saying I bet on it but thought it was the most likely upset yesterday. We’ve got to clean our crap up no doubt but that’s gotta be embarrassing.

North Carolina will represent the ACC Coastal in the ACCCG. They have three losses, including one to Ga Tech. Who should be embarrassed by that....NC...the ACC?

Fortunately this is the last year of divisional play

We would be playing FSU again if we didn't have divisional play and would probably get our clocks cleaned as they have improved greatly

Why are people down voting a valid question to this thread? Some of you are so pathetic.

There has always been a bias towards the SEC and the ACC has always been a crap conference and that is not the case.

Valid point(s).

For me, all that the sec (and big 10) ‘talking head propaganda’ and constant love fest has done is to make me despise them, whether they play good football or not. As if it isn’t bad enough losing to the coots, losing to them and have it be used by the same people as ‘proof of sec superiority’ rankles even more. First, because it was a game we gave away. Second, because they will totally ignore the fact that ‘The Mighty Tennessee Volunteers’ - the latest installment of yet another sec juggernaut and the most amazing team of ‘22 - actually WAS curbstomped by this same coot team. And I say again: in a game we should’ve won.

Well, this too, shall pass, I suppose. . . just like the game we lost when Taj Boyd let J’###### Closney psych him out and we turned the ball over several times in loss #4 of the 5 streak - if I recall right.

Damb I hate losing to the those insufferable mouth breathers…..

I can't stand the SEC hype either and what made yesterday even worse was the first thing the SEC Analyst said after the Louisville and Kentucky game. It was not about the game or Kentucky's win but he said the SEC was 3 - 0 against the ACC today.

Well as much as I hate to post this, here are the facts 2001 - 2021.

SEC - 13 National Championships outright or split

ACC - 3 (Clemson 2, FSU 1)

B1G - 2 (Both Ohio State)

PAC12 - 2 (1 outtight and 1 split both So. Cal)

Big12 - 1 (Texas)

Big East - 1 (Miami)

out another conference as being overrated when the perceived BEST team in our conference (US) just lost to a lower 1/3 team from that same conference.

Probably because they put the most players in the NFL and they have best teams usually. Out of the last 16 national championships, the SEC has 12 of them. The SEC is by far the best conference.
