That 6 for 6 drive was not an anomaly. It's a foretelling of how good this kid is going to become.

A qb hitting a crossing route without breaking the receiver's stride is the most dangerous man on the field. Such passing ability opens up a run game and when you have both weapons like our RBs and QB you can pull either trigger and hit the mark.

He actually hit Collins in stride right in the hands on the pick to start the third quarter. That INT was not on Cade.

The D is dialed-in. Wouldnt change a thing there.

Giving Klubnik just another couple of tenths of a second to run thru progressions and off-loading some of the pressure with chunk runs from Mafah shows the offense can hum along pretty good, too.

He still didn't appear to be going through progressions.

Yes, he had some nice throws but seemed to be locked onto the intended receiver from the snap.

I hope you're right, I just don't see it as yet. Still retreats in the pocket, and there was a pocket yesterday, rather than stepping up. Mafah and the makeshift Oline won this game.
