He seemed like a Tiger for many months and while UGA appeared to make progress, he never wavered except in the eyes of biased observers.

Agreed we have been in the lead for Sammy for a while. I would have considered that a surprise if we didn’t land him. Bolden is a different story. I will say that we gave him a lot to think about on that visit.

If they all commit to Clemson you can pretty much guarantee that group will not be the top four in the final ranking - if you know what I mean.

I hate to break it to everyone but Bolden & Matthews are going to Georgia. Both of them were in Clemson last week, neither one of them posted anything about it on their instagram other than a short post on their story.
Both of them post multiple pictures from their visit yesterday in Athens & Matthews reposted about 25 people who mentioned him on their story from the visit.
It’s pretty clear that Bolden was probably a discreet commit weeks ago when he got CB’d, has spent this time recruiting Matthews & Houston. We may still have a shot at Houston but not Matthews. I would go as far as to say his tweet about Clemson yesterday was a thank you & goodbye to Clemson after he committed to UGA.

I never thought Bolden was coming to Clemson. However, Matthews' recruitment has always had more of a Brown feel to it. I'm not saying Clemson will get him but i don't think he's made his mind up yet...just my feeling. UT is also in the mix. Didn't i also read Clemson is now recruiting him exclusively as a WR? No idea if the Tigers are a serious player for Houston.

Houston is the only one I can’t get a read on but I’m optimistic. He hasn’t posted anything on his story about UGA or Clemson but I’m very confident in Eason’s ability to recruit top level talent.

Bolden 100%. Matthews I wouldn’t be surprised but there’s whispering that Grisham asked him to post the Clemson tweet while on his UGA visit yesterday which would by default mean that he’s a discreet Clemson commit. But he is still visiting USC & Tenn. apparently USC is far more involved than anyone has acknowledged.
He also said his main reason for visiting UGA was to feel out the new OC.

Houston just CB’d to Ohio State by Wiltfong.
Also Wiltfong wrote an article about Bolden saying he believes UGA still leads but Clemson & others are making a hard push for him
