backs into end zone or for 1st downs and wondering why we don’t do it? And seeing the Duke defensive guy grabbing one of the UNC lineman doing that and pulling him backwards without it being defensive holding?

Tiger O-line play and talent level has been down, way down, for at least three years.

The UGA Oline is a thing of beauty. Yeah maybe they were bought and paid for. I want that for Clemson. Austin ain’t getting it done. They’ve improved over the past couple of games but they’re nowhere near the physical/aggressive linemen that they need to be. Imagine Cade with a UGA type Oline.

I get the Austin criticism this year to an extent but this is only his second full year right ? I mean I like what I see from the younger guys they seems to be alot further along and game ready than most anticipated. I’d be fine giving him another year bc it seems like we have had alot of success the last two weeks with what looks like a diff blocking scheme to me… alot of those pulling outside run plays seems to be working well with this group.

We returned all but 1 OLineman this season. There is no reason they should be this bad except coaching.

I don’t understand comments like this. Why should he have another game let alone another season? We aren’t UNLV or USF, we’re Clemson. Go learn how to be a competent position coach somewhere else, we should be hiring proven professionals to recruit and develop players, not pet projects who can’t get results

Yes, they seem improved over the past two games. The younger ones are playing better, better blocking definitely. That’s what bothers me is why aren’t the older players developed and performing at a higher level? I was hoping that the Oline would be more physical and impose their will this season. It’s concerning. I hope the younger players are allowed to play because they’ve earned the spots and especially hope they are coached and developed to be more aggressive and win in the trenches.

The freshmen are better because their high school coaches were better.
