is likely to place Ohio State and us and 2nd and 3rd with us playing in the Peach Bowl. This, of course, assumes LSU beats Georgia in the SECCG.

Someone posted the actual guidelines last week.

The committee selects the sites for each matchup with the intention of giving the #1 seed the advantage in terms of location compared to the #4 seed.

For example if #1 plays #4 Utah, the game will most certainly be in Atlanta.

If #1 Ohio St plays #4 UGA somehow, then the game will be in Arizona.

They don't actually ask the #1 team, but they try to prevent them from being at a disadvantage.

FOR THE LAST TIME , NO TEAM GETS TO PICK WHERE THEY PLAY.

The committee assigns each team’s venue making sure the # 4 seed does not get a home field type advantage over the #1 seed. I don’t know who started this lie but I wish it would go away. We go through this about 50 times every year.

Like when we got to play Bama in the Sugar Bowl lol? That was a terrible pull for the #1 team. Either play in a stadium thats much closer to your opponent, or play in California.

The other three teams will go behind the barn to determine who is forced to play us. If we are #1 no one wants to be #4, If we are #2 or #3 then no one wants to be the opposite.
