The "Woo Hoo" - Here's an idea to end it

If someone starts a GoFundMe page to fund an ad that appears on the jumbotron during a football game at Clemson, I'll donate money.
-Get the cash -Make the video explaining why it sucks -Inform the masses -Presto

They don't. The fans that woo-hoo aren't hurting anyone and they bought their tickets and came to the game so if they want to woo-hoo or singing "Purple Rain" they have that right. It's all about having fun and enjoying the game and if that's how they have fun then just let it go. I've never understood the desire of a few trying to control what others do.

Are you implying it might effect the play on the field? It's at least half the fans having fun after a score. The only people who care about this issue are a few people on this board who seem to be a little too uptight. I could careless either way I just think it's funny that this subject comes up every year after the first game.

If it works to stop the woohoo, great. If it doesn't, hey, farting noises are funny.

A majority of the fans do it and the younger generations of Clemson fans have grown up with it. But you're free to waste money in effort to try to stop it. Although giving that money to Clemson would be more helpful

Unfortunately though, enough do where it stands out. Such is the nature of crowd noise.
We should never give up the fight to turn the tide on the abomination that is the woo hoo. Never.
Go Tigers!

Unfortunately the Ban the Woo hoo crowd will never see....

their dream come to light. As a "young gun" in the eyes of most Clemson fans, all I have ever known is the "Woo hoo" it almost seemed natural to me.
Then my uncle wore a "ban the woo hoo" t-shirt one time and I asked him what that was for? He replied that the "woo hoo" movement was started by cheerleaders and gradually people started to catch it like a virus. Now it has infected Clemson and there is no cure...
I realized about halfway through my college experience there that I could not take myself seriously doing the woo hoo and I stopped.... Never Again.
However, I understand that I am now a part of an elitist minority who will never see the woo hoo banned, but we can gripe about it and scoff at the idjits who do....

cheerleader outfits and pom poms, and meander through the tailgates woo hooing in unison, kicking up their heels and hiking their skirts as they jump with glee. Fans could then actually see how ghey it sounds. Call them the Woo Hoo Crew. One season of this and it would be gone forever.
