Not a new avenue for journalism. I well remember the National coverage of the UT vs Clemson incident that ABC gave top billing to for months. As you know, this incident caused the Tigers years of probation and penalties that would have destroyed many athletic programs. I kept all of these headline stories and filled a large box with them. Still have all of this material. It would make you irate to read these articles. Especially the ones written by one of out Tarheel journalist. I bet some of you older gentlemen remember this as well as I do. Terrible Times for the Tigers. Now UGA gets to suffer.

I remember Danny Ford getting in Monte Kiffin's face at the "after-the-game handshake" that kept being shown over and over on NC television stations. Ford said Kiffin turned us in.

Wonder if Monte ever told on his son?

Says he is “innocent “ of this accusation and I don’t believe he turned Ford in to the NCAA. The rogues from UT were the direct cause of the violations being investigated.

When I moved to this part of the world in Swoffords hometown I became friends with an elderly Clemson gentleman who was friends with the UT insurance man who actually began this mess. He knew what was going on and knew that the State Farm agent was the real culprit,
