I imagine a lot of officials are unhappy with those low scores yesterday. I imagine with some new pin placements the rest of the week I would shoot a 62 in 6 holes the rest of the weekend.

It will be interesting to see if they over correct today and make a par score almost impossible to achieve.

The rough is really rough but the rest of the course does not appear to be difficult at all for those guys.

Although, I seemed to find, back when I COULD still play, that sometimes after a layoff, I actually scored better. I evidently had time to forget my bad swing thoughts.

I'm not sure why so many are getting bent out of shape because of the two or three low scores. The other scores look pretty normal to me. The bottom line is that when conditions are right, there is practically no golf course that can stop the best golfers in the world. All of these golfers know how far they hit each club. What they don't always know however, is where the ball is going to stop. That is why hard and dry surfaces cause all kinds of havoc ..... as well as climatic conditions. The USGA will let the greens dry out. I doubt that they will adjust flagstick placements just based on yesterday's round. They have a plan and they will follow it.
