In the spot during the game where they asked a few fans their one word description of their SC or Clemson rival fans, I loved that the Clemson guy said, “delusional” but more than one SC fan said, “trash.”

I know it’s just a meaningless tv spot with banter but for those with friends or fam that are SC grads or fans, what’s their base (unemotional) view of you or Clemson fans in general? I know I’m biased but am not sure how “trash” is reasonably justified.

I think delusion is actually fair, maybe the positive form being “overly optimistic.” I don’t expect we get a year of bragging rights since that optimism will regenerate in a few weeks and they’ll somehow return to trash talking(at least the most vocal fans).
