They are getting Calvin Ridley next year but he needs someone like Nuk to really make a playoff run. Especially while TL and ETN are on their rookie contracts. Just my opinion

Pretty good, but not great. They could’ve gotten someone like Nuk this year if they didn’t spend all of their cap on Kirk

they def overpaid for him but he's produced far from a bust and they no longer have all that cap space to play with-SB's have been won with far less talent at the WR position. Plus Ridley comes back when mentally healthy he can be a legit #1WR Pro Bowl level player

I like Nuk better than Kirk. A great HOF career.

But Nuk's too old, too mouthy to his team's coaches & players, and too expensive for Jags.

That trio would be one of the best in the league. I think people forget how good Ridley is. They need to resign Engram. They need to draft DL, DB, OL, and WR. Then they need to sign one good, veteran OL in free agency like they did with Brandon Scherff.
Doug Pederson got the owner to fork out money last year. The results spoke for themselves. They need to spend as much as they can while Trevor and Etienne are still on his rookie deal. Those 2 will be worth more than $400 million in a couple of years.

Jags need a lot. Oline help most importantly and more help in areas on defense.

But he reliably catches the ball and wins contested catches as well as anyone.

Exactly! I’m not specifically saying it has to be Hopkins but Jacksonville needs that 80/20 contested catch receiver. Those speedy receivers are needed too but if you look at Clemson’s recent national titles we had a balance of WRs across the board. 2016: Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, Renfrow 2018: Higgins, Ross, Amari Rodgers, Renfrow

Trevor needs a defense with a pass rush and a shutdown corner more. A stout defense would give him more at bats.

That OL is awful.
Mahomes had all day on one leg while poor Trevor was running for his life

Kirk had the 60yrd drop home run ball hit him right in the hands. That was a huge momentum swing. He’s not very consistent.

Marvin Jones Jr is on the downside of career.
Kirk and Zay Jones are solid
Ridley could be a difference maker but risky
They should trade for Tee Higgins. No way Cincy is gonna be able to resign Burrow, Higgins and Chase. He is they type of receiver TL16 needs
Higgins, Ridley, Kirk and Engram would be pretty #### good!

it'll most likely be through the draft and not before round 3. Fwiw, they have (2) picks in both the 4th & 6th rounds, no 7th, and (1) in rounds: (1, 2, 3, & 5). [Jax #24 1st rnd]

That's the best way to do it and not break the bank. They need their #1 pick to be on the O line. And they need help in multiple areas of the defense as well. Very disheartening to hear that Trevor couldn't get it done and didn't have but one TD and only 217 yards with a pick. Coach goes with the quick throw game because it's effective and really their only option. Trevor has roughly two seconds to go though all his reads and unload the ball before he is hammered while Mahomes was able to hop around on one leg and still get 3-4 seconds to deliver the ball. When they finally get a shot play the receiver drops a 60 yard dime. It's that way any time the JAGs face a top team. They are still 2 years away if everything falls perfectly into place.

Kirk has has an amazing year. That was a touch catch man. I've seen Jefferson drop a ball before. That doesn't mean dude isn't good.

Davis Allen could be a big potential help with TL...he has more real TE skills right now than Kelsey or Ertz when they came in the HFL and he has Kelsey type running skills...tunnel pass in UNC game where he disposed of 3 dirty feet and almost scored...those hands and that type of moxie can't be lost on nfl scouts...oh did I mention he can block!

Dead on. Davis Allen runs a 4.75 and didn't have a particularly good year. Kelce runs a 4.61 and could not be stopped against the Jags regardless of what technique they used (and they sure needed a better plan or better LB that can cover). Has the most catches, yards, and TD's of any TE in the NFL and can block as they hammered the Jags on the ground and through the air. Allen will be fortunate just to make a roster. The Kool Aid consumption can be astounding at times on this board.

Ridley will help a lot, IMO. My opinion is they URGENTLY need help at corner and they need another pass rusher. So many busts last night at that corner, just losing the TE. They have the 23rd pick in the 1st round so we'll see who they will have a shot at.
