I think that Wes... is gonna be OK, once he gets comfortable with cameras and microphones and the press, in general. Dabo definitely has the propensity to try to find diamonds in the rough, and God bless him for that. There "are" diamonds in the rough, and he's living proof. But all of the 'rough' isn't "filled" with diamonds. Sometimes it is just... rough. God bless Dabo, now and forevermore!

Hate to say it but I find him very tough to watch but the beauty of it is if he delivers a top 10 defense, nobody is going to care if he struggles behind the mic. I want to see him turn our front 6/7 loose. The back 5/6/7 will hold up much better this year. I want to see a high intensity, attacking defense.

IMO, you are right Xs two in a row with your reference of Goodwin!!! But I will add, he just looks, acts to nerdy to be the head of the snake with the absolutely toughest part of the game of FootBall. I'm sure that the way he looks and talks will cause him to be overlooked most of his DC career, if he actually has a career as a Defensive Coordinator. The jury is still out before rendering a verdict on Goodwin actually making as a Power 5, soon to be a Power 2 defensive coordinator, or is he someone filling a space until a Brent Venables Type DC can be found and convinced into coming to Clemson....

I can only hope that you're right, but it is a fact that it was Goodwin's inability of knowing when or how to call for an aggressive attacking defense all of last season!!!! Maybe since we really don't know what coaches actually do during the off season, maybe he went and visited his good friend BV, and got some helpful advice on when he should send the entire pack after the QB, and what part of the pack should be giving it away pre-snap that they're coming to make the QB run into the hounds waiting on him bc, BV was pretty dang good at doing just that, and it was just a few times over BV's decade at Clemson that the QB would get away from the hounds waiting for him bc usually when BV sent the pack, the QB had nowhere to go except in the dirt!!!!
