It’s incredible that he gets to play at the next level and it’s a blessing for him.
But he’s a liar…and hopefully attending Michigan and playing for that weirdo will teach this kid some integrity.

Makes me laugh. I know NJ has plenty of winter weather, but until you have lived in the Great Lakes region you don’t really have a concept of what those looooooong greeeeeeeey winters are like. It’s not the cold, it’s not the snow, it’s “not seeing the sun” and it turns to dread. The effect is cumulative making each year worse than the last. On the bright side, his bowling game is gonna really improve.
It’s exactly the same reason all the Bucknuts move to SC. As soon as they are no longer chained to that gloom by their job, they escape to somewhere that actually has sunshine.

Native Floridian who lives 20 miles from Lake Michigan. I’ve survived for 10 years. It sucks Feb-Apr because of the greyness of it all. The rest is pretty good, especially with climate change making the winters suck less. From what the old timers say, no ######% way I could survive.
For three to five years it is easy to take, especially in a great college town like Ann Arbor. Would I prefer to be back in Florida or Atlanta? Yes. But it doesn’t suck as much a$$ as many say. Oh but it does suck a$$ I Feb-Apr when it does feel like the sun will never return.
