Who is Brownell's best NBA player in his 11 years here?

Blossomgame averaged 4.2 PPG over a 27 game career.
KJ McDaniels averaged 5.3 PPG over a 148 game career.
Donte Grantham averaged 0.0 PPG over a 3 game career.
I believe we are the only ACC team that currently does not have a player on an NBA roster.
This is the best Brownell has done in over 11 years, in recruiting, preparing, and producing NBA talent.

Not a defense of Brownell, but…

Historically….we haven’t produced much NBA talent. He is not alone.
Purnell had Trevor Booker…. Barnes had Greg Buckner….
A couple of other guys stopped in for a few games (Will Solomon, Harold Jamison, Sharod Ford)
Really have to go back further…. Going back to the Cliff days…Dale Davis, Elden Campbell, Horace Grant, Sharone Wright, Larry Nance, etc…

And I'm not defending the history of Clemson basketball,

but for the record, Barnes was only here 4 years, and Purnell 7. Purnell came in after Shyatt had driven the program into the ground, and turned it around with 3 straight NCAA appearances in his final 3 years. Recruiting has always been the problem at Clemson, but now with all of the legendary coaches that built the ACC into a basketball dynasty gone, there is a window of opportunity to bring in a dynamic coach who can recruit and develop basketball talent, and get Clemson in the mix. And yes, I know hiring a new coach is no guarantee, but to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result just guarantees the same old result. With Brownell, we know he won't bring in good talent, and most likely none of the players he brings in will develop into All-Conference players or play in the NBA. It's a reality many of you refuse to accept. I do believe that the right coach could make it happen, however.

People just sometimes refuse to believe that there is really a dislike for Clemson among the ACC, and that causes that dislike of Clemson to trickle down through the other conferences. For whatever their reasons are, they just don't like seeing the little guy doing good, that pisses them off, especially if it's mentioned, or wrote about!!!

I admittedly don't get to watch a lot of other ACC teams on a regular basis, but from what I've seen in Clemson games against ACC competition (and I've watched every game), it's difficult to imagine there are 15 better players in the league than P.J. Hall. Can't say it's a "snub," but perhaps the late-season injury (and/or just being a sophomore) played a part. Hopefully a motivator going forward.

Not hard to believe at all.
Every other team has NBA talent with UNC and Duke have 4 to 8 players with NBA talent.
PJ Hall has had a good year but with us having a well below average team AND many of our games not on television (no, bally's doesn't count) AND him not making highlight reels, it's easy to see why he wasn't considered.

don’t watch all the games either. Those morons have no clue about anything except how to sniff out the brownies in the press box. It’s part of the problem with the heisman trophy. And the AP poll (thank God that’s irrelevant now).
I would bet most, if not all, of the coaches voted for PJ to be all conference. But the coaches are way outnumbered by the idiot “writers” who have probably never heard of PJ Hall.
