TIFWIW Clemson/Cuse TV Time

A reliable connected Cuse fan I know in Connecticut is hearing our game will most likely be 3:30pm now. 3 great ACC games on the 5th is causing 6 day window and us falling out of the 8pm ABC kickoff. Sorry we are only 2-2..with our new QB we easily beat Penn State and Northwestern would be much closer.

Tell your friend this Hunt kid played against two of the worst teams in the freaking country--Wagner and Tulane. When he gets in with a typical Division I team it will be a different story. We will have this kid in our hand after one strong rush from Beasley!!Those crazies in Syracuse are already talking about this kid being better than Tajh and a Heisman candidate. What's in the water up there?

No one on syracusefan.com is saying anything of the sort. But Hunt is the real deal. Yes we played 2 crappy teams, but he put up 52+ in both games and they were his first ever.
I've enjoyed lurking your board this morning. There are some really good topics, but if you're going to make stuff up.....

You sir are absolutely dead wrong. Go to Syracuse.com and read. That's what was said. Furthermore one of your ignorant fans said this kid was in the same league with Tajh Bored. Give me a break. Read before you speak.

Lol. You went to syracuse.com? I apologize. Of course those aren't fans over there. It's a cesspool. Syracusefan.com are the sane posters who realize how great the tigers are this year.
And you're right I shoulda said hunt will be the real deal not that he is already

Sorry I was not aware of syracusefan.com but only Syracuse.com which, as you point out, has mostly people who are sorely lacking in football knowledge, but high on emotions!! Have a nice day and we look forward to coming to the game.

He said Syracusefan.com that is the intelligent website sports forum...an indy board like this one. Go there for what the more intelligent fans are thinking.
Syracuse.com is the newspaper forum, mostly unmonitored and filled with trolls, haters and Upstate NY ignorants. Imagine having an unmonitored newspaper website with a sports forum overrun by Coots...that is Syracuse.com

Gogamecocks.com. From the same entity (The State) that barred their top sports columnist from even writing about SCar football due to a few critical columns over the past few years.
My impression of syracuse.com is a desperate attempt to try and stir up anything they can whether there's any merit or not.

Furthermore, what qualifies you to say Hunt is the real deal? The kid had a couple of nice games with big stats against weak, weak competition. He may be for real but he may be not. Too early to tell. He saw nothing like he will see against average Division I teams let alone top 25 teams. If you don't understand that, perhaps you need to read up on what the specific differences will be like for him.

I saw him (Hunt)in person play twice. I also saw our first QB (Allen) play once in person and the difference is striking. Hunt has the "it" factor. Of course I want to see him do it against a Top 25 team. We'll see on Oct 5th.

The first TexanMark poster dude is obviously a Coot sympathizer.

3:30 would make the most sense from a network standpoint

for that game. It being Syracuse's first ACC game, plus a likely top 5 opponent should we take care of Wake this weekend, there should be an added TV draw in the NY area regardless of the kickoff time. ESPN would then be in position to promote a primetime league game featuring either FSU/MD or Miami/Ga.Tech to follow (if not both of them - each stands to be a good contest). Hook 'em with Syracuse/Clemson earlier and use the game to promote the next one later. There's not a big SEC matchup that day for the 3:30 CBS slot, so that window stands to grab some solid share in that market.
